The owners of a baby clothing store who had planned to launch a third branch this summer have revealed a new opening date.
Aaron Perry and Cathie Coles founded Nyah's Boutique in September 2022.
The couple named the business, which sells a variety of clothing for babies and children, after their two-year-old daughter Nyah.
Their shops’ stock includes tops, blankets, hats, scarfs, cozy toes and changing rooms for boys and girls.
They enjoyed almost immediate success following the opening of their first shop at The Priory Shopping Centre in Dartford, including almost 1,000 customers coming through the door during the store's first weekend.
As a result, the pair decided to expand the business by setting up another store in Gravesend just two months later.
And in April this year, they announced Maidstone as their next location and they hoped to open a branch in The Mall on June 2.
However, they decided to delay the opening to continue focusing on their existing two stores.
Having had more time to prepare, Aaron and Cathie have confirmed their latest branch will now be ready for trading on November 30.
Aaron explained: "We delayed opening just because we felt we haven't been properly ready since June.
"We wanted to focus on what was happening in Dartford and Gravesend.
"Both shops have been flying as well as each other so we have been so busy.
"Our client base has been really strong as we see a lot of the same faces, so we knew it wouldn't hurt just waiting a little bit longer."
The 40-year-old, who lives in Teynham, near Sittingbourne, has high hopes for the new store ahead of its opening less.
Aaron added: "With Christmas just around the corner, we know this will be our target market pretty much as soon as we open.
"As we offer same-day personalisation on all our products, we're hopeful this will be a big seller."
Speaking earlier this summer, he said: "Apart from Next, there is not too much in Maidstone for kids so we believe our shop will be quite exclusive with nothing like we do nearby.
"That's ultimately what we take pride in, because we know that people like to buy something different and that's why we work hard so we can deliver that.
"As a family business, we understand the cost-of-living-crisis and we factor that into our prices, especially given that buying for children isn't always the cheapest market.
"That's why the shop will be exactly the same as the others in terms of design, as we see this store and our others as a long-term project which is great.
"We believe our customers are equally excited because we have already had messages and comments about the new shop."
