A Basil Brush fan is desperately trying to track down a copy of an episode which aired more than a decade ago.
Brian Chau Rodriguez was just a youngster when he was a child actor, along with four friends, for the Christmas Special.
Mr Chau Rodriguez has contacted the BBC, Wikipedia, YouTube and Maidstone Studios, where it was filmed, but has been unable to find a copy of the episode.
The 30-minute episode, entitled Basil Brush's Christmas Around the World, was produced between 2002 and 2006 and was aired multiple times during the festive season.
Mr Chau Rodriguez said: "I'm looking for information from actors who featured in the episode itself (which was filmed in Maidstone Studios) who were given a copy of the episode (most likely on a VHS Tape) after filming, the family members of those actors or anyone else who recorded the episode in its entirety.
"This was aired for at least four years after production every Christmas. Neither the BBC, the production company, Wikipedia, YouTube or Maidstone Studios (where it was filmed) have any record of this episode being created in the first place; the records no longer exist."
Mr Chau Rodriguez is so keen to find a copy of the episode he is ready to stump up a cash reward.
He said: "I will offer a £50 reward to anyone who provides me with the entire episode or any breakthrough information that leads to the location of it, in the hope that it can be aired once again on the BBC and finally be archived.
"I have only ever seen the short scene that I featured in only once. I didn't see the entire episode so information is scarce. I and four Chinese friends of mine sat on a carpet in front of a TV where Basil appeared. We shouted 'BRUSHO! BRUSHO!' and laughed as he appeared on screen."
