A leading bumble bee expert will be giving a talk in Mote Park this weekend.

Nikki Gammas, who has appeared on the BBC programme Bees, Butterflies and Blooms, will be visiting Maidstone on Sunday for the talk.

She will be talking about the decline in numbers and their habitat and also how planting wild flowers can help.

She will also be covering the re-introduction of the short haired bumble bee to the UK.
