A motorcylist has been taken to hospital after his bike was involved in a collision with a car.

The accident happened at around 1pm in Sheals Crescent, Maidstone, on Monday.

The biker sustained an arm injury, in the collision with a red Mondeo, and was taken to Maidstone Hospital.

The car and the bike were removed from the road at around 1.30pm.

A police investigation has been launched.
