A motorcyclist has suffered life-threatening injuries after colliding with a car.

The accident happened on Wednesday morning on London Road, Maidstone, at the junction with the A20 and Summerfield Road. The male biker is thought to have suffered chest injuries and has been taken to Maidstone Hospital.

Police have closed Buckland Hill, while emergency services continue to work at the scene and drivers are advised to find alternative routes.
