A biker has been taken to hospital and a road was shut for more than an hour after a crash.

Police were called to reports of a collision on the B2163 Heath Road, in Linton, at 3.40pm today.

The crash involved a car and a motorbike and police closed the road.

A police spokesman said the motorcyclist was taken to hospital by ambulance.

The road was reopened at around 5pm.
