Bikes worth a combined £5,000 have been stolen from a shed.
Detectives released a public appeal for information today, although the thefts took place in Union Street on August 18.
In total three bikes were stolen, all of which can be seen below, but police believe they might have been sold on.
The bicycles are a Nukeproof Mega with 26-inch wheels; an NS Decade with 26-inch wheels; and a Dialled Stay Strong with 20-inch wheels.
Detective Constable Simon Powell said: "The bikes that were targeted suggest that the offender has knowledge of bicycles, and a family of keen cyclists has been deprived of high value property.
"I would encourage anyone who has any information, or who has seen the bicycles for sale, to contact me so we can investigate further.
"Additionally, on 5 October local PCSOs will be holding a bicycle security marking event between 11am – 3pm in Mote Park in Maidstone.
"I hope as many cyclists as possible can attend and get their bikes marked as that can help prevent the sale of stolen items and assist with returning property that we recover to its rightful owner."
