A pub in Maidstone had to be evacuated after a suspected fire.
Diners reported being asked to leave by staff at around 7.50pm.
A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue confirmed crews were called to the pub in Sandling Road, but confirmed there was no fire.
"It was just steam and other damage in the boiling room", he said.
Management confirmed the incident but were "too busy" to comment.
