A car blaze caused traffic problems on the Pilgrims Way this morning.
Police were called at 5.45am to the route between the Lidsing Road junction and the A249 Sittingbourne Road.
A Renault Laguna had struck a bollard and was alight.
Police are treating it as suspicious.
A police spokesman said no one was injured.
