POLICE searching for a missing 55-year-old Kent woman say a body has been found in an orchard.

Jill Owen, formerly of Tunbridge Wells, was last seen in the Maidstone area on Wednesday, May 17.

The body was discovered in an orchard in Farleigh Lane at Maidstone. Formal identification of the body is to take place.

A Kent Police spokesman said the death was not being treated as suspicious.
