A bookmakers was broken into in the early hours of this morning.

Police were called out to Church Road, Tovil, near Maidstone just after midnight.

When they arrived officers discovered the front door had been damaged, but nothing was stolen.

A Kent Police spokesman said: "Two men were seen running out of the building where they joined another man who had been waiting outside. It is believed they left the area in a small dark-coloured car."
