FLAMBOYANT middleweight boxer Chris Eubank has been forced to cancel a show at Maidstone's Hazlitt Theatre because he is stranded the Middle East. The former world champion was due to take part in an 'Evening With' night at the Earl Street theatre on Monday, November 5, as part of a national tour.

According to his agent, Mr Eubank had been in the Middle East on business and was due to fly home in time for the tour. But he decided he did not feel safe flying in the wake of the terrorist attacks in America and the war in Afghanistan and has pulled out.

His agent apologised and said every effort would be made to rearrange the tour for next year.
