Police arrested a teenager in a town centre today after reports a boy was seen carrying a knife.
Officers attended Fremlin Walk shopping centre in Maidstone initially, and following a pursuit on foot arrested a 13-year-old boy in Romney Place, near Sainsbury’s.
Officers found a knife nearby.
The boy was taken into custody.
