A boy who collapsed at a Maidstone doctor's surgery earlier in the week has died.
Lee Green suffered a serious asthma attack at Albion Place Medical Practice, Sittingbourne Road, on Wednesday.
He was taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital, Pembury, before being transferred to the Evelina Children's Hospital in London, where he died last night.
Great-uncle Dan Marchant described Lee, who was an only child and had suffered from asthma since birth, as a sweet boy with a heart of gold.
Mr Marchant said: "He was so sweet around people and so polite. He had a heart of gold and loved life.
"He was so out going and didn't let his asthma stop him doing anything. He was like any kid that age. He liked football and stuff and he played sport at school.
"He was my great-nephew but I thought of him as a nephew."
Today his mum Kayleigh Green posted a smiling picture of her son on Facebook along with another photo showing a note he once left her alongside two Snickers chocolates.
The handwritten message said: "This is for you mum. PS Love U mostest."
Friends and family have paid tribute to Lee after seeing the photos.
Gemma Watson said: "He's just beautiful I love u little man xxxxxx"
Zoe Phillips wrote: "What an amazing boy beautiful blondie."
Zoe Budd added: "Perfect boy. Thinking of you Kay."
Lee, who was 11 or 12, went to North Borough Junior School, Peel Street, Maidstone, before moving on to Maplesden Noakes in Buckland Road.
The GP surgery said a "major medical incident" was taking place on Wednesday and it remained closed all day.
