A broken down car is caused delays on the M20 this morning has been cleared.

The vehicle has blocked one lane on the London-bound stretch of the carriageway, close to junction 5 for Aylesford.

Kent Highways warned drivers to expect delays back to junction 6, for Maidstone and Blue Bell Hill, at 7.40am.

It reported that traffic was clear at 9.40am.
