A YOUNG man suffered a suspected fractured cheekbone and other facial injuries when he was set upon in a town centre.
Police are appealing for information following the attack in High Street, Maidstone, between 4am and 4.30am on Sunday, April 16.
The 18-year-old victim was in the subway area at the bottom of the high street with a friend when his ordeal began.
Sally Smith, police media and communications officer, said: "Three men entered into conversation with him. It is then alleged that the men became aggressive, pushed him to the floor and assaulted him."
Police would like to question three men in relation to the attack:
* A white male, aged around 20, about 6ft 2in tall, and of slim build. He wore glasses and a black top.
* A white male, thought to be aged between 20 and 21, around 5ft 10in tall, of stocky build with short, dark-brown hair. He wore a white shirt.
* A white male aged around 20, 6ft tall with light-brown, streaked hair. He wore a looped earring in his left ear and a black shirt.
