Thousands had their water supply cut off when a water main burst in Langley last night.
South East Water said engineers worked through the night to fix the problem and supply was being restored to homes around the area on Thursday afternoon. A spokesman said all supplies were restored by just before 5pm.
The burst occurred on Sutton Road outside Langley Park Driving Range - affecting around 7000 customers in Langley, Coxheath, East Farleigh, Yalding and surrounding areas.
Bottled water was handed out by engineers to the company's most vulnerable customers, as well as health clinics and ambulance stations.
A statement on South East Water's website said: "Our Engineers have worked through the night, and are currently nearing completion of repairing the main.
"When your supply is back on, if you notice that your water becomes white or cloudy, discoloured or has sediment, we advise the following: Let your first incoming tap, usually the cold water kitchen tap, run slowly until the water becomes clear. Don't use your washing machine, dishwasher, shower or hot water until the water clears. Brownish discolouration is usually caused by harmless natural deposits in the mains that have been disturbed. White/Cloudy discolouration is usually caused by air in the water, which will clear in time."
