Arriva bus driver abused and threatened in King Street, Maidstone

A bus driver was subjected to threats of violence and abusive language after a service was delayed.

The unprovoked incident is alleged to have happened at around 5pm on Wednesday, May 10, when a passenger boarded an Arriva bus in King Street, Maidstone.

It is reported after the vehicle became delayed, the man approached the driver’s cab and violently struck the protective screen.

He abused the victim and made threats to harm them.

As part of their enquiries, officers would now like to identify the man pictured and are appealing to anyone who recognises him to contact them.
