A car has crashed into shops opposite the White Horse pub in Bearsted.
Police were called and an ambulance attended just after 5.30pm yesterday.
An elderly male driver and an elderly female passenger are understood to have been in the car.
A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service said: "I can confirm that we were called shortly after 5.30pm yesterday to reports a car had collided with a shop in Ware Street, Bearsted.
"A man was suffering from neck pain and was assessed and treated before being taken to Maidstone Hospital.
"There are no injuries listed for the woman but understand she was also taken to hospital."
One of the windows in the shop and a post holding up the canopy were both broken as a result of the crash.
The shop was closed at the time of the accident and has re-opened this morning.
