A car ended up on its roof in a Maidstone street this evening.

The Ford Ka overturned in Postley Road at 9.20pm.

The driver left the scene and police inquiries are ongoing to locate him.

No other vehicles were involved but a number of parked cars on either side of the road were damaged.

No-one was injured.

Fire crews and police attended the scene and the car was turned back onto its wheels.

The road was closed for around an hour and a half while the scene was cleared.
