Police officers attended two car accidents along the same stretch of road over the weekend.

They were first called out to Loose Road, Maidstone, on Friday night when a vehicle overturned near the Walnut Tree pub.

Pictures show the black car on its roof in the middle of the road and the front crumpled.

Officers attended the scene just after 11pm and no injuries were reported.

Just a few hours later, on Saturday morning, the force were called back out to the same stretch of road.

They attended the scene at around 4.15am to a report a car had crashed into some metal barriers.

A man was taken to hospital with a leg injury and arrangements were made to recover the vehicle.
