A crash in which a car overturned caused long delays yesterday evening.

The silver hatchback overturned just before 7pm on the A229 Staceys Street roundabout near the Kent History and Library Centre.

The crash blocked one lane and caused long delays in the town.

Paramedics were also called but no serious injuries were reported.

The car was recovered just after 8pm.
