Emergency services were called in the early hours to reports an accident on a busy stretch of motorway.

Upon arrival shortly after 2am they discovered two vehicles had rolled onto their roofs after hitting the central reservation.

The incident occurred on the London bound carriageway of the M20 between junction 9 for Ashford and junction 8 for Leeds.

Fire crews and ambulances attended to make the vehicles safe and there were no reports of any injuries.

One van and a car overturned, paramedics checked the drivers at the scene and discovered nobody needed hospital treatment.

Crews left at around 2.30am.
