A car has overturned after clipping another vehicle in Headcorn.

The accident happened at 6.30pm in Wheeler Street near the junction with Orchard Glade.

A white car is believed to have clipped a parked car which caused it to skid across the road and roll onto its side.

Police were called and ambulance and fire teams are also on the scene.

The female driver had to be cut free by fire crews. She has been treated at the roadside and is not believed to be suffering from life-threatening injuries.

Wheeler Street has been closed near to Headcorn Station and cars are being turned back.

A police spokesman said that recovery of the car is yet to be arranged.
