150 years of the Kent Messenger will be celebrated this week.

The Maidstone Telegraph - the newspaper that would eventually become the Kent Messenger - was founded in 1859.

All this year we have been celebrating the anniversary. We have delved into our archives to relive our past in our Memories pages, organised a get-together for members of the KM's youth club the Keg Megs, and teamed up with Hadlow College to plant dozens of trees across the area as a lasting reminder of the year.

We have also raised £5,000 to sponsor a Guide Dog puppy.

The best moments from our anniversary year are collected into a 12 page supplement, only available in this Friday's Kent Messenger.
