A REVIVAL of the classic television quiz Telly Addicts is to be filmed in Maidstone later this year - and you could take part.

Auditions for Soap Addicts and Celebrity Addicts, based on the format of Noel Edmonds' game show, will be held at the Ramada Hotel and Resort, in Ashford Road, Hollingbourne, next week.

Other auditions for teams of three will be taking place all over the country over the next few weeks and the selected few will put their knowledge of soap operas and celebrity gossip to the test to earn the "addict" crown and prizes like DVD players.

But the producers, Unique Television, have yet to announce who will be hosting the quiz - although they have revealed a shortlist has been whittled down to just two people.
