Organisers of one of the county's biggest summer events are urging ticket holders to check their emails after receiving countless calls from people unaware the date has changed.
The Leeds Castle Concert was scheduled to take place this Saturday, July 10, but was moved to Saturday, September 4 after the Government announced a four-week delay to the lifting of coronavirus restrictions.
Despite sending out emails and social media posts with the updated information, many are still unaware of the changes to the event which usually attracts thousands.
The organiser, Heritage Events is urging everyone to check their emails to avoid large crowds showing up disappointed.
A spokesperson said: "It appears lots of people still think the concert is going ahead on this coming Saturday, and don't realise it has moved to September.
"We have emailed all ticket holders but many haven't opened them and we are getting daily calls from people checking.
"They seem very surprised to learn it's not happening.
"Some people aren't aware we are still in distancing measures."
A Facebook post with the message 'We'll meet again', detailing the changes said: "We have been working tirelessly to reschedule this year’s incredible Leeds Castle, Kent Concert and in true wartime spirit, everyone has pulled together following the delay by the Government on the easing of restrictions.
"We are delighted to still be able to bring you the best concert yet with the world-class Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, just slightly later in the year than planned.
"We thank our existing ticket holders for bearing with us and we want you to know how vital your support is to us.
"Let’s keep calm and carry on in September."
Many ticket holders have had their tickets for over a year following the event having to be cancelled in 2020 due to Covid-19.
Tickets already purchased are automatically valid for the new September date.
Tickets remain on sale for the new date. For those unable to attend can email enquiry@heritage-events.co.uk.
