Tonbridge Angels produced a stunning fightback to earn a share of the points at Chelmsford City in Blue Square Bet South on Monday night.
Despite an unchanged line-up from Saturday's 3-1 home win over Salisbury, Tommy Warrilow's side made a slow start and the hosts raced into a 2-0 lead inside 12 minutes.
Dave Rainford converted a penalty past Lee Worgan for the opener after Sonny Miles had fouled Kezie Ibe in the area and despite Lewis Taylor going close with a volley, the hosts doubled their lead when Ricky Modeste was played in down the left and cut inside before firing across Worgan and into the corner.
Angels found their feet and Frannie Collin (pictured) saw a fine lob from Ben Judge's long ball forward saved by Carl Pentney, who also denied Ade Olorunda, while Worgan thwarted Ibe with his legs at the other end.
After the break Angels pressed forward and Judge saw an effort deflected wide before the visitors' pressure eventually told when Chris Henry pulled one back 14 minutes from time after a through-ball from Collin.
And it was Collin who snatched a point in the dying seconds of stoppage-time when the hosts failed to clear their lines with the ball breaking to the striker to turn it over the line for his 10th goal of the campaign to earn a deserved draw.
