X Factor finalist Cher Lloyd is expected to wow fans when she heads to Maidstone this Friday.

The controversial contestant will perform at Liquid and Envy nightclub, in the Lockmeadow complex, Hart Street.

Cher recieved mixed reviews from the public and show's judges for her performances, which varied from love ballads to rap music.

The teenager, who was mentored by Cheryl Cole, stayed in the competition until last week's final.

Cher bowed out in fourth place after a duet with Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.I.Am - who is rumoured to have offered her a recording contract.

The finalist will perform a selection of songs and meet fans at the town centre nightclub this weekend, thanks to an exclusive deal with the KM Group.

The partnership with the nightclub and ITV show, has seen seven head straight to Maidstone for their first UK gig.

Mary Byrne was due to appear last Friday but was unwell.
