A girl has been taken to hospital with spinal injuries following a crash in Marden.

The Kent Air Ambulance was called to the scene after a car crashed into a ditch in Maidstone road at 8.30am on Wednesday November 9.

Air ambulance paramedics were first on the scene but the girl was taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital in Pembury by land ambulance.

Police also attended as the crash occurred on a bend - creating a potential further hazard for other drivers.

Only one car was involved and the girl's injuries are not belived to be life threatening.
