Firefighters were called to a chimney fire in Hill Crescent, Lenham, just before 7.20pm on Thursday night.

Crews used a height vehicle, chimney gear and a stirrup pump to fight the blaze and left the scene just after 8.45pm.

Police were also informed due to fears the road would have to be closed, but no action was taken.

No one was injured.
