Fire at The White Rabbit, Maidstone

It wasn't the Friday night that was expected at a Maidstone pub, as emergency services were called to a fire.

Firefighters tackled the incident at The White Rabbit, in Sandling Road, shortly after 9pm last night.

One engine attended as the crew calmed the blaze from the ground and using an aerial appliance.

The cause of the fire is not yet known. Crews left the scene at around 10pm.
