Film-goers are being offered their money back if they can't stand the heat at a Kent cinema with malfunctioning air conditioning.
The Odeon cinema in Maidstone has introduced the policy this week as temperatures continue to soar across the county, with the mercury reaching some 34 degrees in some areas on Thursday.
Movie fans reported the heat in the Lockmeadow venue as "tolerable" after half-an-hour, when the refund is available, but "just horrible" after two hours.
Maidstone manager Ania Karnas said: "We are currently experiencing some issues with our heating and air conditioning systems.
"If you find the temperature is uncomfortable, up to 30 minutes into the film feature, please speak to a member of the team who will be happy to arrange a refund of your film tickets.
"We do apologise for any inconvenience caused."
