A community clean-up project is helping spruce up litter-strewn streets.
Snodland Goes Cleaner was set up two years ago to wage war on rubbish and 20 members were out in force on Saturday, February 19, armed with shovels and brooms.
The group collected around 15 bags of waste, and streets around Neville Park and Church Field are a lot smarter as a result.
A second tidy-up will take place in the summer.
Luke Chapman, who is chairman of the group, said: “We’ve had great involvement with residents of Snodland.
“Hopefully we’re some way to making our community a cleaner place.”
