Part of the M20 is to close overnight for bridge repairs.
From 9pm on Friday, July 2, the northbound carriageway of the M20 bridge over the River Medway will be shut for repairs.
The bridge, between junction six and five in the direction of London, will be closed until 5am Saturday when it will reopen.
It will shut again at 9pm Saturday night and reopen at 5am Sunday.
The link road leading to the A229 Blue Bell Hill will be widened to run two lanes for drivers during the closure.
Then from Monday, July 5 to Saturday, July 10 all northbound lanes of the bridge will be closed between 9pm and 5am nightly. The link road will remain open.
This is being done so bridge joints can be replaced and the surface of the bridge can be waterproofed and re-surfaced.
