Emergency services were called after concerns were raised for the welfare of a woman on the roof of a multi-storey car park in Maidstone.

Police and paramedics were called to the site next to The Mall in King Street around 7pm yesterday.

They remained at the scene until 9.50pm when the woman came down and was passed into the care of paramedics.
