Maidstone Ladies 1sts took third spot in the East League Premier Division with a convincing 3-0 win at Thurrock.

Quick and fluid passing from the first whistle paid off for Lizzie Daniels side, pictured, when Cara Brogan opened the scoring after 16 minutes and then Maria Miles made it 2-0 before half-time.

Maidstone lost their way a little after the break but Claire Daniels added their third goal 10 minutes from the end.

Maidstone men’s 1sts suffered a 3-0 home defeat against Wimbledon in South Premier Division 1 to stay second from bottom.
