The county council is proposing a 20mph speed limit drop on a rural road.
Kent County Council (KCC) wants to reduce limit to Dean Street and Heath Road in East Farleigh near Maidstone.
It will apply on Dean Street, from its junction with Heath Road, for a distance of 179 metres in a northeasterly direction.
While on Heath Road, it would apply from a point 145 metres northwest of its junction with Coppice Road for a distance of 915 metres in a north-westerly direction.
Currently, the road is de-restricted, which means a national 60mph limit applies, but it borders a stretch of road which is currently 30mph.
Full details, including the scheme plan, can be found here.
Anyone wishing to either object or support the proposal, before it is made permanent, can do so via KCC’s response form.
There is a deadline for responses of Monday, October 28.
