Brace yourself for a bit of Saturday Night Fever this weekend.
Bee Gees Magic and the Rat Pack Live will headline two outdoor concerts in Snodland on Saturday, July 18, and Sunday.
The Party in the Park on Saturday has top-line acts performing Rod Stewart and Tina Turner tributes. Also Take That 2 supports the Bee Gees Magic, giving three and a half hours of entertainment.
On Sunday, the Rat Pack Live will perform songs from the likes of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jun.
The West End-style, full production show features singers, a live big band and the Vegas Show Girls.
The concerts take place at Potyns Sportsground, Paddlesworth Road, Snodland. Both start at 7pm, with gates opening from 5pm for people to bring a picnic and enjoy some refreshment before the show.
This is the third year the Snodland Chamber of Commerce quarterly magazine Town Talk has organised a weekend of outdoor concerts as part of the annual Snodland Festival. The KM Group is official media partner.
The first concert in 2007 was supported by more than 1,000 people – and last year more than 3,000 turned out for Queen and Abba tributes, as well as a classical concert.
Organisers have pitched ticket prices as low as possible. Saturday adult tickets are £17.50, and £15 on the Sunday.
