Suspected drug dealer on eScooter arrested by County Lines police in Maidstone

A suspected drug dealer who rode around Maidstone on an eScooter and allegedly sold crack cocaine has appeared in court.

Officers from Kent Police’s County Line and Gang Team stopped a man on an electric scooter in the High Street on Wednesday, February 3, at around 12.45pm.

Suspecting he was involved in the supply of controlled drugs, the officers arrested him and seized a mobile phone.

A search at a nearby address revealed £1,700 in cash and another mobile phone.

Jamie Little, 21, of Pudding Lane, Maidstone, was later charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin.

He appeared before Medway Magistrates on Wednesday where he was remanded in custody to appear at a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court at a date to be confirmed.
