Gymnast Courtney Tulloch who produced personal best performances on the vault and parallel bars in Qatar
Pegasus gymnast Courtney Tulloch helped England to a bronze medal in the World Gymnasiada in Doha, Qatar.
The youngster was taking part in his first global event and before travelling out, spent with a week of intensive preparation with national coach Sergey Sizhanov.
The event featured 102 boys from almost 30 nations, with each team comprising five gymnasts, four of which are permitted to compete oin each apparatus with the top three counting.
Tulloch was first up up pommel and scored 13.30, which put him in the top eight and the apparatus final.
A mark of 13.6 followed on rings, earning him another final place. and he followed up with personal best scores on vault and parallel bars.
In the finals Tulloch was sixth on pommel and fourth on rings - missing the bronze medal by just 0.1 of a mark - as England finished third behind winners Ukraine and Spain.
