A broken down vehicle and a crash are causing problems on the M20.

One lane is shut between Junction 9 for Ashford and Junction 8 for Maidstone on the London-bound carriageway.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time for their journeys and to expect delays.

A Kent Police spokesman said: "Officers were called to reports of a two-car collision on the London-bound carriageway of the M20 between junctions 9 and 8. No injuries were reported."

The crash happened just before midday.
