A teenage motorcyclist was taken to hospital after a crash that caused long queues on a main road into Maidstone.
The A274 Maidstone Road was partially blocked between Warmlake Road and Leeds Road following the collision, which happened shortly after 7.30am.
No other vehicles are believed to have been involved.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene, and the 19-year-old driver was taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford with leg and head injuries.
Kent Highways advised drivers to avoid the area, with delays of around 25 minutes in both directions.
They had cleared by 9.40am.
