A two-vehicle crash is causing delays around Maidstone town centre this evening.

Two people were reportedly injured when a car and a moped collided on the Maidstone-bound carriageway of Fairmeadow shortly after 6pm.

Police and paramedics are on the scene and motorists are reporting heavy congestion in the area.

Kent Police have been approached for comment.
