A crash has caused delays on a busy road in Maidstone today.

Officers were called to the collision on the Sutton Road at around 5.10pm.

The incident, which involved a Citroen Picasso, happened between Bircholt Road, for Park Wood industrial estate, and Wallis Avenue.

No injuries have yet been reported but South East Coast Ambulance Service has been sent to the scene, near to the BP garage, as precaution.

Motorists are advised to expect some delays in the area with queues reported on the nearby business park.
