A country lane has been reopened following a two-car crash near Leeds this morning.

Broomfield Road between Park Barn Road and the A20 Ashford Road was shut in both directions just after 9am.

But shorty after midday police reopened the route.

A Kent Police spokesman said: "We received a report of a collision involving two cars at 9.19am.

"Officers are attending the scene in Broomfield Road, Maidstone. No injuries have been reported. The road is closed while the vehicles are being recovered."
