A Maidstone road has reopened following a crash between a car and a four by four.

The accident occurred on Hunton Hill between Foremans Barn Road and East Street just before 3pm.

Police, paramedics and Kent County Council Highways attended the scene of the accident, which resulted in an oil spillage.

No serious injuries were reported and the road was reopened shortly after 4pm.
