A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a crash with a car in Larkfield.

The A20 London Road was shut in both directions for more than two hours.

It happened between New Road and Maidstone Road, shortly after 6.30pm.

Police confirmed the biker suffered serious injuries and has been taken by ambulance to a London hospital.

Drivers were advised to expect delays in the area.

However, at around 8.30pm officers said the road was due to open shortly.
