A crash involving a lorry and a car has caused long delays for motorists this morning.

Police were called at around 8.10am to the M20 Junction 6 slip road leading onto the Running Horse Roundabout, near Maidstone.

As a result the A229 was blocked both ways, and there were delays from all approaches to the roundabout.

The Running Horse Roundabout was closed while the vehicles were moved and it has now been reopened.

No injuries were reported.
