Drivers faced delays on the London-bound M20 this morning after an earlier accident between a car and a lorry.

The accident happened at about 7.30am between junction 5 (A20 Aylesford) and junction 4 (A228 Leybourne / Snodland) and has since been cleared.

No one was thought to be injured.

Traffic is tailing back as far as junction 7 (Maidstone/Detling Hill) and a 40mph speed limit is in place.

Journey time is around 20 minutes.
